The mountain light overton has been on my to cop list for a while. Read honest and unbiased product reviews from our users. This is the most comfortable boot i ve tested and it keeps getting more comfortable the longer i use it. Danner boots are known for narrow lasts so going up in width is common.

Even though i d read all the reviews i did get my regular size and they do tend to fit about a half size large. I m going to give these boots a five star rating just because they seem to be well made and are relatively light. I kicked the crap out of these boots for well over 400 miles in caves through briars and on gnarly rock outcroppings. The overton s sole is quite a bit slicker when transitioning from wet outside conditions to a smooth inside surface such as poured concrete like you might have in a garage or linoleum. Overall though they are very comfortable. For heavy duty comfort the danner mountain light ii is like stepping into a tank lined with velvet. The mountain light overton sole is made by vibram but is made of a slightly different material than the standard mountain light which is the classic hiking sole design.
