Pry off the old trim with a pry bar.

Using scissors you want to cut about inch off the tube end and cut the end at a 45 degree angle.
Use a pry bar or a similar step 2 remove the window and screen.

Score the flat sections of the siding panels with a sharp.
Rest the back of the pry bar on the wood block.
Remove the exterior trim caulking to remove the trim on the outside of the home first use a razor knife to cut the caulking so the trim is easier to remove.
Slide the front end of the pry bar between the trim and the building then pry off the pieces of trim and underlying trim boards.
Dry wall surrounding the inside of the window may get in the way of the process.
Use a utility knife to score the perimeters of the drywall you want to remove.
Then simply use a pry bar and a hammer to remove the trim.
Pry off trim molding surrounding the existing door if applicable with the flat end of a pry bar.
How you cut this end is important since the caulk has to come out at a certain angle and in a certain way.
